Every time The Mighty Lion Band performs, it exudes a great source of pride from its members to all students, alumni, and fans of East Mississippi Community College.
The Mighty Lion Band plays an important part in "Lion Pride" at East Mississippi Community College. Membership in the program is comprised of students from almost every program offered on campus, representing a
vast numbers of counties in Mississippi. Being a part of The Mighty Lion
Band provides students with opportunities to develop their musicianship, social skills, and leadership, regardless of their field of study.
If you have ever partaken in "Lion Pride" on game days, you will find The Mighty Lion Band in performance, keeping the crowd energetic and on
their feet cheering on our Lions. Not only does The Mighty Lion Band perform
at all EMCC Lion football games, they are active performers at home
basketball games, local parades, and at other university functions as
needed.
